Some suggestions to English sub-forum

Firstly I will show my sincere thanks for the two MM web-managers, myfmyf and iampm ‘s support and encouragement. I think recently our English sub-forum seems not prosper enough to lure more members to participate in. So I have some suggestions to the further development of our English sub-forum. That is, we can also use REQ regulations for the helper and helped. I guess most forum members are Chinese researchers or students, they maybe encounter with some problems about English, such as English Abstract for their Chinese papers, English introduction for their products, English writings for their study, Chinese-English inter-translation for English or Chinese papers and so on. At least I will be very glad to post my research paper seaside if it is translated good enough. ;-) I hope this will do good for both the helper and the helped. I summarize the Requirements as the following points,
1) English Abstracts for Chinese papers;
2) Chinese-English paper inter-translation;
3) English introduction for products, websites, organization etc;
4) Original creations, of course;
5) Problem solution with CET, CET-SET, TOFEL, GRE, PETS5, IELTS etc;
6) English writing, modifying etc.
7) English report or expressions in national or international conference.
8) Other requirements
The regulation should be similar to other REQ sub-forums. The reward credits should according to the word number and quality. Requirements are the source of development and prosperity. May that help .
对英语版块发展的一点建议
首先我要衷心感谢两位美女版主myfmyf和iampm的支持和鼓励。我觉得当前英语版似乎不足以吸引更多的会员参与进来，所以对这个板块的发展有一些建议。那就是也对求助者和应助者采用求助规则。我猜想大部分论坛成员应该是国内研究人员或者学生，他们也许会遇到和英语相关的一些问题，例如为中文论文书写英文摘要，对产品作英文介绍，英语写作，中英文论文的翻译等。如果我的论文能够被翻译的很好的话，至少我非常愿意将它投到国外。;-) 我觉得这对于求助者和应助者是双赢的。我将需求总结了下面几点：
1） 英文摘要的撰写；
2） 英文论文或者中文论文的互译；
3） 对产品、网站或者组织等进行英语介绍；
4） 英语原创；
5） CET, CET-SET, TOFEL, GRE, PETS5, IELTS等考试遇到的问题解答；
6） 英语写作，文章修改等
7） 国内外国际会议中的英语报告和表达问题(感谢sun123的补充)
8） 其他需求。
规则应该和其他板块求助规则类似。对积分的奖励应该根据应助的字数和质量而定。需求是发展和繁荣昌盛之源。希望我的建议能对论坛发展有所帮助。 |
