没见过吧，这是英语谚语，我没敢动。如果您查一下 Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 6th edition（《牛津高阶》第六版）shut 词条，会看到下面例句：

He shut his book and looked up.

下面是LONGMAN Dictionary of Contemporary English, 4th editon光盘中shut词条Example Bank 里的例句：

With a small exclamation she snapped the book shut, but before she could get to her feet Marc glanced up.


谚语中shut为过去分词作表语。另外，用close也应该是closed.

1、作动词时shut和close都表示瞬间动作，但过去分词shut和closed 都表示状态。

2、close是可以作形容词，但意义和读音都与动词不同（您查查字典就明白了），谚语中要用close必须用过去分词形式。

查了字典,close做形容词没有"关、合"的意思.
但俺觉得shut的力度好像比close大一些。

1、的确，close作形容词，没有"关、合"的意思！ ：）

2、力度的大小不是你我“觉得”的，即使如您所说有力度区别，表示状态的过去分词也没有区别了。

但在日常应用、写作或考试中，十有八九会被判错误，外教也不例外。 ：）

就这两个词而言不知道状态是否有区别.但我认为人是主观的,一般会带(戴?)着有色眼镜看事物,比如对于同样一扇关着的门,有人可能会用"大门紧闭"之类的字眼,心境平和的人可能会用"门是关着的"之类很一般的话,绝对客观的状态几乎没有,所以我认为人们会用不同的词或句子形容相同或相似的一种状态.

说shut力度大,第一个理由是它的发音力度一般相对close要大;第二是用的场合,砰地一声关门人们通常用shut(有待统计),叫人闭嘴也用shut,当然在教孩子学新词时用close(比如发/m/这个音).

有说得不对的地方请指正.
