Review:
Great item for your library
I'm in my first year of a nurse practitioner program and find this an extrememly useful resource for my personal library. I would have given it 5 stars if they could make it smaller, but that's probably impossible. I use it the most for helping compile differential dx lists. For specific diseases or illnesses I'm not that familiar with- it provides physical/clinical findings, etiology, differentials, workup recommendation, lab tests, and general tx guidelines. Easy to read and to the point- love it.

Far superior to CMDT
This book is great. you get 1 to 3 pages devoted to each of 500 diseases, you also get a great lab section, differential diagnosis, and both online access to Ferri's and a pocket PC/PDA version to download for free. This whole thing lightened my labcoat pockets considerably! |
